If heading to a friend’s house to watch the game more than likely you be eating some type of chicken wings. I personally have over a hundred different chicken wing recipes. So if you are looking to learn how to cook chicken wings to could be sifting through recipes for days trying to find one that you like and that will just be narrowing it down to the type of sauces that you like whether it be sweet, sweet and spicy, sweet BBQ, Spicy BBQ, set your mouth one fire and on and on.  Then you still need to decided if want them fried, baked, grilled, broiled and on and.

Let’s face there so many choices when it comes to make your own hot wing that it can be quite overwhelming. And the real hard part about it that no one way it truly be called the best because it come down to nothing more than personal taste. If me these are my two favorite recipes and hopefully they will help you in your how to cook chicken wings quest.

How To Cook Chicken Wings Recipe #1

This is a grilled style of very hot chicken wings and is very simple to make. What I do is take whole chicken wings and complete soak them in Tabasco sauce (you can use any hot sauce you like) for at least 24 hours. Normally I go closer to 48 hours but never less than 24. I want to give the chicken wings enough time to soak in all that hot sauce.

After they have had the chance to soak in the hot sauce I fire up the grill and cook the wings about 8 to 10 minutes per side or until the wings reach an internal temp of 165 degree F.

Once the wings come of the grill I brush them with a little melted butter mixed with more hot sauce (half butter and half hot sauce) and serve with a blue cheese dressing.

Again these tend to be very spicy and they have strong hot sauce flavor.

How To Cook Chicken Wings Recipe #2

This recipe is another very simple but tasty style of wings but this time we I like to go with the more classic deep fried style.

Cut your chicken wing in half at the joints and discard the tips.

In a large (5- to 6-quart) deep heavy kettle heat 6 cups oil until a deep-fat thermometer registers 380° F. Just before oil reaches 380°F, pat dry 6 or 7 wings. Carefully lower wings into oil and fry, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, golden, and crisp, 5 to 8 minutes. With a slotted spoon transfer wings to paper towels to drain.  Continue this process until your wings are cooked making sure to allow the oil to heat back up to temp between each batch.

If you want a spicy sauce take your favor hot sauce about a half a cup and mix with one cup of melted butter then give the wings a quick dip and serve.

This style of wing also work great with any of you favor wings sauces.
